To connect Intuit Enterprise Suite (IES) to ChatGPT, Claude, Grok or Microsoft Copilot, first authorize your IES company in DeepLedger. Then connect the AI app you use to DeepLedger's hosted MCP server. The app can request supported accounting data through that company connection.
DeepLedger supports Intuit Enterprise Suite in addition to QuickBooks Online. You can start with one AI app and add another later. Each app needs its own setup, but you do not recreate the underlying accounting connection each time.

- Connect Intuit Enterprise Suite to Claude: add a custom connector to your Claude account or workspace.
- Connect Intuit Enterprise Suite to Grok: use Grok's custom MCP connector.
- Connect Intuit Enterprise Suite to Microsoft Copilot: configure an agent in Copilot Studio, then publish it to your intended Microsoft channel.
Complete the company setup below once, then follow the section for your app. This guide covers cloud-based Intuit Enterprise Suite, not QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise company files.
First, Connect Your IES Company to DeepLedger
You need an active IES subscription, permission to authorize the intended company through Intuit, and access to that company in DeepLedger. If you manage several entities, check which company you are authorizing at each step.
- Create a DeepLedger account, or sign in to your existing account.
- Open Settings > Company and QBO Connect and find or add the intended company.
- On its card, select Connect QB. The button uses the QuickBooks label for the Intuit accounting connection.
- Complete Intuit's authorization for the intended IES company. If it is missing from the selection, check your Intuit access with the company's administrator.
- Return to DeepLedger and check the connection status. Repeat for any additional company you need to use.
If the company is already connected, reuse that connection. Adding an AI app does not authorize another entity automatically. Intuit's App Partner Program guide describes app connections for both QuickBooks Online and IES subscribers through authorized OAuth tokens.

MCP is the interface through which an AI app discovers and calls DeepLedger's tools. DeepLedger manages the accounting connection; you do not need to create an Intuit developer app or host a server yourself.
How to Connect Intuit Enterprise Suite to ChatGPT
After the IES company setup, add DeepLedger as a custom MCP connection in ChatGPT. This gives ChatGPT access through DeepLedger rather than through Intuit's own ChatGPT offering.
- On ChatGPT's web interface, open Settings > Security and login and enable Developer mode.
- Open ChatGPT Plugins, choose +, and name the connection DeepLedger.
- Under Connection, enter
https://mcp.deepledger.ai/mcpand complete the DeepLedger sign-in. - Start a conversation, choose Developer mode from the + menu, and select DeepLedger.
- Run the company and first-report check below.
OpenAI currently lists Developer mode for Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise and Education accounts on the web. Workspace controls can restrict it. Check OpenAI's current Developer mode instructions if the controls are missing. The connection guide describes the current Plugins setup.

How to Connect Intuit Enterprise Suite to Claude
After the IES company setup, add DeepLedger's hosted server to Claude. For an individual Pro or Max account:
- Open Customize > Connectors.
- Select + > Add custom connector.
- Enter
https://mcp.deepledger.ai/mcp, add the connector, and connect it using your DeepLedger account. - In a conversation, use + > Connectors to enable DeepLedger.
- Run the company and first-report check.
For Team and Enterprise workspaces, an owner first adds the custom web connector under Organization settings > Connectors. Members then connect individually through Customize > Connectors. Follow Claude's current custom-connector instructions for your plan.
Which Claude connection should you choose? Intuit already offers a QuickBooks connector that supports IES. Check that option if its documented tools cover your task. Choose the DeepLedger route when you want to use your DeepLedger company connections and workflows across supported AI clients. The two connections are operated separately; adding one does not configure the other.

How to Connect Intuit Enterprise Suite to Grok
After the IES company setup, use the custom connector in Grok chat:
- Open grok.com/connectors.
- Choose New Connector > Custom.
- Enter
https://mcp.deepledger.ai/mcp. - Complete the DeepLedger authentication and return to Grok.
- Ask Grok to use DeepLedger for the company and first-report check.

These steps are for Grok chat. The xAI API and Grok Bot have different setup paths; do not assume a Grok chat connector also installs a Grok Bot plugin. See the Grok connection guide for those distinctions.
How to Connect Intuit Enterprise Suite to Microsoft Copilot
The route here uses Microsoft Copilot Studio. You add DeepLedger to an agent, test it, and then make that agent available through Microsoft 365 Copilot or Teams. It is not a universal IES setting in every product named Copilot.
After the IES company setup:
- In DeepLedger, a firm owner or admin creates their own personal key under Settings > API Access.
- Open your agent in Copilot Studio. Select Tools > Add a tool > New tool > Model Context Protocol.
- Set the server URL to
https://mcp.deepledger.ai/mcp. - Choose API key authentication with type Header and header name
Authorization. - Create the connection using
Bearerfollowed by your complete DeepLedger key, then add the server to the agent. Enter the key only in the connection's credential field. - Test with the company and first-report check.
Microsoft documents this in its MCP onboarding wizard.
Before sharing: select End user credentials in the tool's credential settings, so each eligible user supplies their own connection. A personal DeepLedger key acts as its creator, can reach their accessible companies and is not read-only. Maker-provided credentials instead let other agent users act with the maker's access. Confirm the Company and Check Your First Report
In your chosen app, start with:
Use DeepLedger to list the companies I can access and their connection status. Do not create or change any accounting records.
Choose the intended company from that list. If names are similar, use the returned organization ID:
Switch to the company I selected. Read its company profile and confirm its accounting company name and home currency before continuing.
Then request a report for a fixed period:
Use DeepLedger to retrieve this company's Profit and Loss for August 1 through August 31, 2026, on the accrual basis. State the company, dates and basis. If the report is paginated, retrieve the remaining rows. Do not record or change transactions.
Replace the dates and basis with the ones you need. Compare the returned totals with the same report in IES. A company appearing in the list is not proof that its authorization is healthy or that the report includes every row.
What One Shared Connection Means for Multiple Entities
The benefit is that your accounting connections live in DeepLedger and can be used from the AI apps you connect. There are still two setup steps: Intuit authorization for each company, and DeepLedger authentication for each AI app.
Your personal connection has one active company shared across clients. If you switch companies in Claude, the next request in ChatGPT or Grok can use that new company too. Confirm the company at the start of each workflow. For concurrent jobs that must stay on separate companies, use the pinned-company setup in our multi-company connection guide.
Switching between entities is not the same as producing a consolidated financial statement. Do not treat a sum of company reports as a consolidation with intercompany eliminations.
Supported Work and IES-Specific Limits
Start with company details, available financial reports and transaction lookups. DeepLedger also has bookkeeping tools for supported records, such as bills and invoices, plus its own review tasks and workflows. Review the company and proposed fields before authorizing a write; asking for a report does not make the connection read-only.
IES support does not mean that every feature in the IES interface is exposed through this connection. Do not assume support for IES-specific consolidation, intercompany eliminations, custom dimensions, payroll or every project workflow. Confirm the exact operation you need before building a process around it. Connecting IES also does not populate DeepLedger's separate bank feed; that needs a linked account or imported data.
If an entity is missing, check both Intuit authorization and your DeepLedger access. If tools load but reports fail, inspect that company's connection under Settings > Company and QBO Connect. Repairing the accounting authorization is separate from reconnecting the AI app.

Does one connection automatically set up every AI app and IES entity?
